Say what you will, it's still a fascinating album. No, it really shouldn't be included among the references listed on this page. But, dammit, we just want to go on record... we have nothing but admiration for John and Yoko's courage to move their wildly avant garde ideas into the mainstream. So what if isn't something you'll play over and over? So what if it's ultimately an album-long version of "Revolution 9"? So what if the cover got more attention than the content? It STILL shook us all up and, more importantly, put the establishment firmly on notice that change was a-brewing.
